As a day etched into the memory of all Americans, the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy occurred this year. To help honor first responders and remember those who are no longer with us, Gatesway Foundation teamed up with Asbury United Methodist Church for Second Saturday. During this event, Gatesway Foundation and around 200 volunteers worked to complete various projects on their Broken Arrow campus including demolition, deep cleaning of the commercial kitchen, landscaping, interior and exterior painting, and much more.

After the devastating news that the 2020 Special Olympics had been shifted to virtual games, Gatesway held a Summer Celebration to help clients and their families return to normal. In true celebratory fashion, Gatesway had various events and activities planned, including carnival games, inflatables, and a barbecue during the day.
