Gatesway Foundation, a non-profit Oklahoma agency providing specialized services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD), has partnered with the City of Broken Arrow to return Green Country Balloon Festival to the community. With the help of Broken Arrow City Officials and Staff, planning is currently underway for the festival, celebrating Gatesway’s 60th Anniversary with Friends, families, and the community.
Join us on the evening of the 27th at 6 pm to witness a breathtaking sunset backdrop as our vibrant hot air balloons grace the skies! Enhancing this magnificent spectacle will be a curated selection of retail and food vendors, promising delectable treats for all attendees. Plus, get ready to groove to our live entertainment throughout the event!
The 28th will be our main event under the direction of our Balloon Meister, Rodney Williams. Come watch our balloons take to the skies as we open our gates. Live entertainment and vendors of all varieties will fill the Events Park to allow for a festive day for families from near and afar! In honor of Ronnie Gates Halloween Birthday, all guests will experience a treat filled day of fun for all ages. Come that evening for a second balloon glow as a precursor to your spooky night.
Green Country Balloon Festival is committed to providing a safe environment for all participants. To ensure safety, all balloon activities are subject to change or cancellation due to weather.
Attendees are encouraged to bring seating or blankets to the event. No outside food or drinks. No weapons of any kind are permitted on event grounds. Gatesway reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons. A safe environment is of the upmost importance. We appreicate your understanding!
