Gatesway is a non-profit agency, which provides vocational training for individuals served through our workshop, Gatesway Industries. The individuals who work in our training center learn valuable employment skills while doing a variety of tasks. Our workforce is a dependable asset to any company. VOCATIONAL SERVICES AT GATESWAY
Unique Services for Employers
Gatesway is a non-profit agency providing vocational and residential services to individuals with disabilities. Federal and State funding allows us to offer unique services to employers.
- Gatesway provides crews of three to five workers and an on-site Job Coach for areas such as,
- Housekeeping
- Janitorial
- Lawn services
- Delivery and Paper-Shredding services
- Gatesway carrries Worker's compensation Insurance coverage on each employee, including the Job Coach.
- Gatesway handles time sheets and payroll records; cuts and distributes paychecks.
- Gatesway guarantees 100% daily attendance, no call-ins, or no-shows.
- Gatesway guarantees quality service to meet your exacting standards.
- Gatesway strives to match the needs of the employer to the strengths of individuals, for a beneficial work environment.
- Gatesway also offers individual placements through our Vocational Rehabilitation Department.
The crew, hired, trained and under the constant supervision of Gatesway staff, is an efficient labor force provided to the employer at little more than the cost of one employee.

Sheltered Workshop
An on campus site that provides a variety of jobs on a contract basis that allow every person to learn new vocational skills while earning a paycheck in a familiar and comfortable setting. Sorting, packaging, shredding, and assembly are just some of the services offered to any business on a contract basis.
Qualified staff provide training and support to every person as they learn individualized vocational skills while earning a paycheck.

Vocational Rehabilitation
The Vocational Rehabilitation program is a service provided to Individuals whose immediate goal is to work independently in the community. It is funded by the Department of rehabilitation.
This program allow individuals to be gainfully employed while building skills and confidence in own abilities. Thus enabling them to become independent in their daily lives.
Care is taken to secure employment that benefits both employer and the person served. A trained employment specialist matches the skills and desires of the person with the requirements of the employer. Job coaching supports are in place to assist in finding employment and training the worker. In this program, the job coach gradually fades from the job site over a period of twelve consecutive weeks of employment. The length of on site assistance varies depending on the needs of the individual and those of the employer.

Enclaves/Work Crews
Enclaves are groups of three or more persons who fulfill a need for an employer.
Gatesway keeps all time sheets and payroll for those persons served and the job coach.

Gateway guarantees quality service to meet your exacting standards.
