INTERMEDIATE CARE FACILITIES

Gatesway operates three State licensed Intermediate Care Facilities for People with Mental Retardation located on the main campus in Broken Arrow. These programs provide a therapeutic community environment for adults with developmental disabilities who are in need of supports and/or in some cases nursing care. All three facilities provide training in basic living skills as well as provide the opportunity for expanding independent living skills and life activities in preparation for movement to a less restrictive environment. Admission to these programs is determined on an individual basis by Gatesway's admission team based on current certification regulations and the ability to meet each person's individual's needs. An interdisciplinary team supports the individuals to reach their maximum potential and can advance through Gatesway's progressive programs at their own pace.
